During 2016 our sister business To The Point Productions asked us to help them create a website for one of their clients: Mountain High Pies who are based in the Blue Mountains in NSW. We happy assisted. The website need to replace their old website that was out of date and did not contain accurate information about this business. The new website also needed to:
- Be modern in appearance and mobile phone optimised.
- Lots of photos
- Colours that matched their old logo and their new logo
- Easy to update Menu section
- Include a loyalty card
- Additionally promote their ‘Desserts & Coffees’ and ‘Cold & Family Pies’
- Easy to update blog section
- Make it very easy for site visitors to click through to their Facebook page.
- Include a Google Location Map
We were also commissioned to help:
- Write the text
- Organise the photography and videos
We also recommended to the client the website ‘sell the sizzle, not the sausage’. We provided recommendations for the photo shoot including displaying the ‘idea’ of:
- Fun
- Family
- Family fun
- Family Outing
- Happy smiling kids enjoying eating pies
- Photos of the Bakers (show the team who do the cooking)
- Great photos of the food
- Blog posts that provide insight into the business and the family and tourist experience
