Case Study: Gayndah Orange Festival Website
The Brief
During 2023 we contacted the Gayndah Orange Festival Committee about their website and offered our services. They elected us to create a new website for their 2025 Orange Festival.
The Committee requested that the new website be simple yet effective. They also supplied the main topics to include within the website; including information about Gayndah, information for Stallholders, competitions and other info. They also needed assistance with their Domain Name and email.Â
Our Solution
We presented a proposed plan (including sitemap), outline and timeframe for the project. Our lead-designer (Jay Daniells) designed the new website. We ensured the website was visually interesting, easy to read, mobile-phone friendly, simple (as requested) and fast to navigate.
We chose to use the WordPress.org CMS (Content Management System) to build the new website.
To help save time, we also wrote some of the website text.
There were also some online forms we were asked to build into the website.
For their security and peace-of-mind (and with their approval) we transferred the Domain Name to our Registrar and moved their email addresses to our email hosting. Additionally we supplied support as requested to help with setting up their email addresses on their computers, tablets and mobile phones.
Update 17/12/24: We also monitor keyword phrase Google rankings in our SEMRush account . We’ll be providing website training soon so they can easily login and update content within the website. We also designed an email signature:

The Results
The Committee are very happy with the new website. They now also have stable, reliable email. They have thanked us for going above and beyond; for everything we have done.
At the time of writing this case study, the website has only been launched for two weeks. So far both us and the Gayndah Orange Festival Committee have been receiving great feedback about the website.
