If you have ever had dealings with someone promising to create a website for you at a really cheap price, chances are you already know that “you get what you pay for.” Maybe the site got finished but was terrible, or maybe it never got finished and you got robbed (as in, you paid a deposit but you never got a website), they asked for more money during the project (beyond what they quoted), or maybe the website got hacked, or maybe there were ongoing excuses why it was not finished, or maybe the person who created the website was too hard to work with.

On the flip-side, if you have ever had a professional website crafted for you, chances are you got a really great website, it helped your business, it never got hacked, the people who created it for you were honest, reliable, trustworthy, knew what they were doing, it got finished in a timely manner (and/or by the agreed due date), had processes in place to make the whole project straight-forward, cared about your success, were a ‘breath of fresh air’ and were great people to work with.

The difference between a ‘low-cost hack website’ vs a professionally crafted website is like night and day!

Professionally crafted websites are still very affordable when created by us. They are strategically crafted to help you achieve your goals. Some of these might include:

  • Create more awareness about your business, club, organisation, charity, etc
  • Dramatically increase the number of leads, enquiries and sales for your business.

The way we quote each website project is based on the time it will take to complete it. We have been creating websites for 20+ years, which makes us fast… and keeps the cost down, without taking short-cuts (which we never do)!

We are all about fairness for you and us. We go above and beyond to provide you with a great website! Like any business, we also have to ensure that after we pay taxes we have enough money left in the project to pay:

  • Expenses: There are a LOT of hidden expenses in our industry, including license fees for software.
  • Wages: Like anyone who has expertise we aim to earn ‘above minimum wage’.

Years of Study and Experience

Being able to consistently create professional websites takes years upon years of study, ongoing self-learning, experience, maturity, intuition, creativity, communication skills, ability to assemble & assimilate information about a business into a coherent yet streamlined online presence and a lot more. Some of the areas of study and experience include:

  • Graphic design
  • UI Design (User Interface Design)
  • Project Management
  • Communications
  • Human behavior using the Internet
  • Design Psychology
  • Information Architecture
  • Content Writing
  • Marketing
  • Digital Marketing
  • Business experience
  • Ethics
  • Law (Copyright Law and other areas)
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation
  • User-interface design
  • Coding
  • IT
  • Website Security
  • and a lot more

Mobile Friendly and Testing

The websites we create use an advanced technology called ‘Responsive Mobile Design’, otherwise known as ‘mobile friendly’. Since 2012/ 2013 it has been expected that all websites display well not only on desktop computers & laptops (of various sizes), but also on tablets and modern smart-phones. ‘Responsive Mobile Design’ makes this happen.

Mobile friendly

In 2015 Google also rolled out an update that began ranking ‘mobile friendly’ websites higher than those that are not. Info about that update is here.

When creating ‘Responsive Mobile Design’ websites we have to do a LOT more work and testing on all of the above-mentioned computer types and devices,… AND screen sizes. We also have to test on Mac and PC computers. It is a fair bit of work! This extensive testing work has to be included in the website build fees, otherwise we would be doing this work for free.

On the other hand, if your website is hacked together and not tested, it may not even display correctly on various devices, computers, etc. It may not even function correctly. Imagine owning an online shop website that does not allow potential buyers to purchase goods on your website, because the website is broken and does not work.

Professional websites are a lot of work and require time and effort to create.

When you work with professionals like us, you get access to our expertise, experience, insights, skills, etc… PLUS a GREAT website that is way better than that of your direct competitors. Your website will also work correctly!

You also get reassurance that your website will be created in a timely manner… and/or completed by the agreed-upon deadline. You also get peace of mind that we are quoting enough to stay in business to be here for you if and/or when:

  • You would like our help in the future
  • You would like new features and functionality added to your website
  • Would like us to provide any of our other services

A great website is an investment!

Your website has the potential to be your #1 business marketing and sales asset, but only if it is ‘done right’. It is also your ONLY marketing representative that operates 24/7, 325 days of the year!

Your website is often ‘the first impression’ of your business, especially by people (potential customers) who find it:

  • Via Google or Bing or others. (Info about some other Search Engines including Neeva, You, Brave Search is here)
  • Via a word-of-mouth referral
  • Via social media.

As per any aspect of life, first impressions count!

“It pays to invest.”

The reality is: If your website is not ‘up to scratch/ standard’ (and above average and/or ‘does not stand-out’) you are losing sales every day that you don’t even know about (and never will). Those sales are instead going to your competitors.

Side note: Currently, 40% of our clients have turned to us to fix their website or create a new one after they had a bad experience with some other business who ‘quoted really cheap’ only to find, “You get what you pay for.”

We Won’t Leave You Hanging

Over the years we have helped many businesses that had a ‘website person’ but they literally disappeared overnight. After not being able to contact them for weeks or months, they then turned to us to take over because:

  • We are reliable
  • We are professional
  • We are affordable… AND will never disappear or vanish or leave our customer ‘in the dark’ (or left hanging).

Off-shoring the work (which we DO NOT do)

It pays to check who will be working on your website.
Some website businesses quote ‘overly cheap’ because they are outsourcing the work overseas. Others won’t even drop their fees when doing this to maximise their profits. In either case, it is very rare they will tell you they are ‘outsourcing off-shore’.

Here at Green Valley Digital, we do NOT off-shore any work. All work we do is done right here in Australia by our trusted team. When you work with us you are helping the Australian economy and Australian families.

Tip: If you are getting quotes from others, ask them to tell you who would be working on their website, if you give them the job. Ask for their names and ask where they are located. Many website businesses off-shore the work to people who are happy to work for as little as $10 USD per hour (sometimes even less). The website business won’t tell you. This can create all sorts of problems for you including potentially jeopardising the security of your website.

We also provide repayment plans if you need one.

We also include our website packages on our website. Click here to view them.

All things considered, our website options are very affordable (and very competitively priced), especially considering what you receive, PLUS the ROI (Return On Investment)/ money you will make by owning a HIGH-quality professionally-crafted website created by us.
